About the role
At RPE we are a small and dedicated team. The roles within it are very versatile and include both fundraising and project management related tasks. The Partnerships and Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of various initiatives within the organisation, ranging from funds requests, communication campaigns and coordination of the implementation of the art therapy programmes. She/He works with different external partners - locally or internationally - to carry out the tasks, monitors and reports progress.
Responsibilities
Partnerships Management
In collaboration with the other team members, execute RPE’s partnerships strategy, integrating the whole range of fundraising possibilities, including public and private grants corporate partnerships, donations, fundraising events, and legacies.
- Undertake prospective research on potential financing partners.
- Prepare and submit funding applications
- Maintain and update donors’ records on a Customer Relationship Management application software (Efficy)
- Evaluate fundraising initiatives by balancing time-cost ratios to focus efforts on the most appropriate fundraising activities.
- Contribute developing written and visual marketing content for social media, and web site, and prepare communication material to support fundraising effort and overall TRP visibility.
Project Management
In collaboration with the other team members, coordinate the effective implementation of the art therapy projects, including
- Undertake prospective research on potential partner organizations for the programmes
- Monitor the various stages of the project: agreement, setting up sessions, evaluation, final report.
- Maintain and update projects’ records on a Customer Relationship Management application software (Efficy).
- Report to donors and ensure dissemination and visibility of project results.
Personal attributes
- Master’s degree with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a position with similar responsibilities. Former experience in the non-profit sector is a strong asset.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong organizational skills to work to deadlines and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to work with international teams within and outside The Red Pencil organization.
- Written/oral language skills: English and French are essential; Dutch or Spanish is an asset.
- Personal drive, initiative, reliability and commitment.
- Good command of standard Office applications. Knowledge of Efficy, Mailchimp and Wordpress are an asset.
